Lucinda received her Power Pilates Comprehensive training in 2008. She is certified for all levels on all apparatus and has many years of rehabilitative and injury prevention training. Lucinda has studied with some of the leading teachers in the industry and first and foremost considers herself a student of Pilates. She began taking lessons at 19 after a stubborn injury wouldn’t heal and credits Pilates with her recovery. Always interested in fitness, Lucinda was an avid equestrian growing up and holds belts in Self Defense and Judo. Over the years her list of injuries began to rack up, Pilates was her medicine and still is! Lucinda graduated with a BA from American University in Washington DC in 1999. 

Nothing gives her more joy than helping people transform their bodies and educating them on how they can better take care of themselves in all activities. She believes the benefits of Pilates are not only physical but also mental as it has a profound impact on the way we think about our bodies. We not only gain strength, flexibility and better postural alignment but we become more connected, grounded and perhaps a little kinder to ourselves.

Originally from the UK, Lucinda has lived in Los Angeles for over 12 years. She currently resides in LA with her husband (who practices Pilates!)
